  • Reverborocket 2x12 reissue is noisy

Anyone mess with one of these?
Has nasty hum and buzz, only goes away with a guitar plugged into the line in jack with guitar volume down.

    More noticeable on clean channel.

Power supplies look good, I'm seeing some ripple on the switching FET's.

I'm gonna' pull the PC boards and check for anything strange.
Think I have the schematic on work computer, I'll link it.
    Maybe something I'm missing.

Damn, haven't been able to quiet this down at all.
I have the schematic for the R version, but this amp is a little different.
No master volume on clean channel which is why it is noisier.
They're using a TL074 before and after the loop which is where the noise is coming from.
The signal is knocked way down after V2, and it uses the TL074 to amplify after the loop before hitting the PI.
Loop hums even with a short cable connected .

Well replacing the TL074 definitely helped with the background buzz for anyone that has a similar problem.
