  • EVH III 100w hum problem

on the EVH iii the filaments voltage fuse 12A burnt. I change with a good one, but now the amp has a 50 Hz hum. all the tubes seems ok - I have a cathometer to check, anyway I put also good verified valves. hum appears even without guitar cable inserted, are the same on all channels, the same even I put the guitar in the Return jack. I put new 100 ohms resistors in the heaters circuit.
I'm intrigued now about the HT circuit... what a hell they put those bunch of diodes in this section? I'm speaking about D 23, 12, 13, 14, 15 and Z1 and Z2. seems overhelming. I plan to remove all , also the C12, C13 and the P12 red/yellow cable. I suspect is there a problem for my hum problem.
    Am I wrong?
    Thanks!

Most tube testers don't apply real world voltages to the tube. Despite your tester saying the tubes are good, I'd try tube substitution first.
On a side note, your attachment comes up as an invalid link for me.

I put also new 6L6 tubes, changed also a lot of 12ax7, even swaping in my Mesa Roadster.
I put again the the power supply schematic

as I mentioned in the first post, I replaced R11/12 100 ohms resistors, even the originals were good, but cheap.
I think the problem come from the weird design of power supply - PT tap on the two 150 mf capacitors.
