Anyone familiar with this weird device? It was dropped off with the GX-40C+ described in this thread. The Crate amp is waiting for the TDA2050 chips to arrive so I need something to occupy my time in between my uber popular Trump posts and the parcel delivery wait from China

Here's the link that describes the device. It's a rechargable portable with instrument/mic inputs, an AM/FM radio and an iPhone dock. Just the thing for a portable party, karaoke or on the fly practice amp. I suspect a recharging circuit failure from trying to resucitate a tired battery. The device has a full range 6.5" speaker with a 42-14,800Hz response, would you guys put any time into it?

Is the recharge circuit damaged or is it just a bad battery?

Beyond battery testing and or replacement, I don't know if anything in there is repairable.

I had a fresh SLA 7.2Ah connected and it was dead on both recharge switch positions. Without a schematic, I can't say if the recharge switch bypasses and I haven't taken the box apart yet. When I do, I'll post photos.
