I have been using an old Telequipment single channel tube oscilloscope for the past year or so and it is actually pretty nice for what it is (small, easy to use, and cheap), but really miss having a scope where I could do screen or waveform captures, multiple channel, advanced triggering, etc. Got lucky yesterday and scored a Tektronix TDS 420a (with floppy drive!) four channel digitizing scope for $14 at Goodwill. Channel one seems a bit noisy, but otherwise seems to work fine. I would like to get a high voltage probe for it to probe plate voltages, or maybe I will just set the the tube one up for that using Mr. Fahey's probe design he discussed here
