Ampeg SVT-CL Power Tube Question

I recently picked up an SVT-CL from GC. It was a store demo they had being sold as new with warranty (which might not be anything what with loud in control now). Hey, I couldn't refuse the price and I was missing the sound of a big tube bass amp. Reminds me of the old PLUSH 3000B I had years ago
(a great sounding amp) till it fried one night. Still brings a tear to my eyes thinking about all the smoke coming out of it.

I'm wanting to pick up a set of extra 6550's for the thing and wanted to get some feedback on which tubes work good in these newer SVT's. It has Sovtek's in it right now. Good or bad? Are the bias adjustment LED's really OK or should I break out the meter?

The Sovteks are ok but nothing great. The Ruby STR's may be the best bang for the buck deal. If you want them to last get some NOS but they will cost you. The leds work if all the tlo-72 chips are good . There is a bias voltage on the schematic and sorry I don't have it on my hardrive but the leds should work fine.
