I didn't have to pull the board to do the recent work, but why would the bridge rectifier effect a squeal from touching the speaker? FWIW, I am going to replace the remaining filter caps when they arrive.

The BR has nothing to do with the squeal. It's simply a must-check item on those amps.Last edited by nickb; 09-26-2018, 09:59 PM.Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.
