Bummer. No one likes to be that guy. But yeah, it's probably best to be practical at this point since the amp is only worth a couple hundred anyway. If it's a regular client maybe you can keep tabs and find out is it ever gets repaired.?. And WTF was wrong? That's the sort of thing "I" would want to know if it were me in your spot.

I definitely want to know what is wrong, but as a practical matter I can't be everything to everyone. I did my best, and nothing seemed to jump out to anyone here, so I admit defeat and get on with it. I doubt it will ever get fixed, as there is no one else within 100 miles of here who does this type of work with the exception of one music store hack who shall remain nameless.It's weird, because it WAS working fine.....Comment
