  • Types of Fuses?

I blew the fuse in my Peavey Valveking 212 due to bad tubes. They are about year old and were starting to experience the issues associated with tubes going out: low volume, no umph, etc.

The new tubes are on the way so I took the fuse out of the back and now need to know what kind of fuse I need to replace the old one with. The original was a ceramic 5A, but can I use a glass one, and what type, fast burn or slow burn?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It does not have to be ceramic, and it is fast blow. if it does not specifically say slow blow, assume fast blow. SHould be printed near the fuse holder.
