  • Looking for a little help from the HiFi guys on the site

Got the bug to build a vintage hifi system and picked up a Sony 1120F integrated receiver. Fuse cap was missing - never a good sign but it followed me home anyway.

The power supply is missing two pigtail fuses and has a burnt trace that once connected to the power transformer.

I have a feeling that a few more shoes are going to drop on this one so I'm scouting for a service manual.

I've downloaded the TA-1120, 1120A and 1130 manuals thinking they might be close, but the circuits are quite different than the 1120F.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

    Tube, solid state,?
    Got a light bulb limiter?

Get power supply up and running first.

Yes - Solid State, powered it up on a limiter, indicator lamp lit on front panel, discovered missing pigtail fuses (6.3V) on power supply board.
