Difference in Behringer LPA1180 rev f and j

Got a BXL1800A in with a destroyed LPA1180 power board and found a replacement LPA1180 from Full Compass.
They looked the same in the photo's so ordered it.
Got the replacement and found that it has different input connector as well as being a rev j, which does not match
up with other 1180 schematics.
Does anyone have info on this rev j board as compared to the rev f?

Are the connectors equivalent? I mean five pins of transformer wires for the fan supply and the main rail supplies? two for input, and two for speaker?

You can take connectors off the old board if it is just a matter of mating.

The power connector is OK but the connector to the preamp is wired backwards and a different connector!!
Ended up cutting the old connector off an hard-wiring it to the board.

They adapted an existing power amp design to fit the current model.


SOme older models with stereo amp has two input connectors, and one is installed "backwards". Each input is balanced, so this results in the amps being out of phase. But they wired the speakers in reverse from each other so it comes out with phased speakers. But the net is that draw from power supply is on opposite rails at any instant. If someone were to "correct" the input jack, the am,p would work less well.
