Then check out "Top Secret" by the same folks. It was Val Kilmer's first starring role.

I currently own a SVT Pro III. It is a preamp ONLY (used in conjuntion with a QSR power amp and speaker cab. The cab has an 18" speaker in a folded format.
I have been trying (unsusessfully) to obtain a schematic, layout and Users manual for the SVT bass preamp, but every time I look online for them, I only find SVT III power/preamplifier units. I have gone out to my garage, two times just to make sure my PREAMP, doesn't have a power amplifier... As I haven't been able to find JUST a preamplifier online.
I hope someone can shed some light on where I might find these before I lose my mind.
          Thank you!

There is a section "schematic requests" where you may have more luck.
Specify that it is a preamp only.

                SVT2-Pro & SVT3-Pro preamp schematics

While I haven't seen this SVP-Pro preamp before, i looked at the preamp circuits of both the SVT2-Pro and SVT3-Pro. While similar, the SVT3-Pro has an IC front end (following the input jack), and the SVT2-Pro has tube front end.

I've attached the two schematics. Mind you, the power supply in both cases is not included, as it would be powered off the a different transformer than what's in the SVP-Pro.

Were either of those offered as a stand alone preamp?
