All too often, cycling thru the Fender Combo amps that get sent over for service, I find those cheap 3-prong stamped Glide Feet missing, so the cabinet is rocking back and forth just to irritate ya. Not your common hardware store item, and different than the furniture glides that have a fixed nail in the middle. A quick look at Darren Riley's packaged Fender Glide Feet shows a pack of four sells for $8.49 + shpg! As always, we know Fender is buying these in bulk for dirt cheap. WHAT are they called? Metal Chair Glides.
After googling and looking thru multiple websites, I came upon Esty.com....AnniesDownHomeStore, and this popped up in the search:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/5769768...k-of-50-nickel
Looks just like what's hammered into the bottom of the Fender Deluxe Reverb, and here, you get 50 pcs for $4.18 + shpg!
One more mystery solved.
Opps........actually, these are a touch smaller than Fender's parts...these are only 9/16" dia, while the Fender part is 0.840" dia. But, who's looking? I did also buy some of the metal glide feet at McMaster-Carr that have a nail in the center.
