So I guess schematics for this series still haven't materialized?

Read through all the threads I could find for some background.
This one is making some horrible noises the owner said, I'll report what I find.

Got a bunch of turds this week!

From what I've read, it looks like one of those zener diodes across the 240 ohm cathode resistors is bad.
The one side reads around 140 ohms.

Now the fun part of taking it all apart to get to it.

It seems weird that 39V 5W zeners on EL84 cathodes are failing
