Is there even anybody to report such things to?
I have made a formal request to them for a copy of the Declaration of CE Conformity which they are legally obligated to have and provide on request. It seems I have a moral obligation to follow this through.Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.

So the official way would be to inform your national (market) surveillance authority- Own Opinions Only -

The Boruit 2157 is a very good cheap headlamp, well made and nice adjustable beam
https://www.amazon.com/Boruit-Flashl...KYRQBVXB0T70VW
at most spot setting it produces a very bright ~1 ft square beam at 5 ft, you can actually see the details of the Cree LED die
at its most flood setting its a nice homogeneous circle of light 6' in dia. at 5 ft
about 6k color temp and solidly built of machined aluminum, other Boruit a bit brighter but I prefer this little guy
if you set it at "high" setting it remains there when next turned on; you can completely avoid the bothersome strobe and SOS settings.
Battery is passable and chargers are included for $23

Jeez! That spot setting is intense. Don't look at anything too shiny like that or you'll put your eye out, lazer head."Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo
