Ampeg Reverb

Will I damage my Ampeg VT120 Head by putting a 12ax7 tube into my reverb circut that normally uses a 12AU7? With th 12AX7 the reverb is just so much better (of course) but will it hurt my amp in the long term?

No you will not. The 12AU7 is a lower gain tube that will affect your reverb sonically but not harmful in any way that I know.
