Schem for red/blk knob Princeton Chorus (SS)

The schematic for the DSP model is still available on the Fender website as well as many other sites on the net ... I have been searching for quite a while for a schematic for the earlier version known as just "Princeton Chorus". I have an owner's manual in PDF form, but I really need a schematic to troubleshoot a problem with the chorus channel switching circuit. There was a Fender service bulletin that I saw that said that most problems can be traced to the use of inferiour SAMSUNG 4558 IC chips used in the comparitor circuit for the FS ... and suggest using only the Motorola chips or Texas Instruments. But I need the schematic to verify the voltages that should be present at the test points to see if the chip has failed or the associated circuitry (reference diodes and resistors and such). Does anyone have a URL for a schematic?

Schem for red knob Princeton Chorus (SS)

Thanks Enzo... got the schem from Ampix. Exactly what I needed to perform the repair. I suspected that the circuit was similar to the one in the Ultra/Ultimate Chorus and it appears that it is pretty much the same thing. It is good to have the correct test points and voltages though. Well, I guess I gotta break out my scope and Flukemeter and go to work on it (probably this weekend).

I have a few of the red-knobs in my parts cabinet. I generally replace them with black ones and the red ones accumulate there. Send me a private email with an address and I will send one or more of them to you if you still need 'em. sirmans1_AT_bellsouth_dot_net [Just remove the _AT_ and the _dot_ and replace them with the real things that go there]
