Hi,
I have a late 80's 100 watt JCM800 that had a bad power switch. I ordered a new one from Hoffman amplifiers. When I was changing the switch out last night I noticed the old switch had 5 lugs, the 5th (bottom) for a black wire. The new switch had only 4 lugs, so for now I just left the black wire not connected to anything.
Does anyone know what I should do about this? The amp powers on now, but obviously I don't like having an exposed wire like this. It can't touch anything, but I like to do things safely and thoroughly. I checked the Hoffman website again and there is no 5 lug lighted Marshall power rocker switch.
Thanks
