I have a Traynor YCV40WR and yesterday i noticed that if I turn the volume all the way down I can still hear the guitar playing through. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yes, it means either the pot doesn't go completely to zero, or it does, but the rest of the circuit has enough gain to pick up the crosstalk in the amp.
In either case it is not really a problem, after all, how often do you play at zero volume?Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

I understand what you are saying. I just didn't know if that was normal. I don't think it used to do that. I have had it about three months. I thought maybe something was wrong with it. I did put high gain tubes in it and I thought this may have caused it to do this.
Thanks

I once had a telefunken 12ax7 go bad in a very strange way. I could turn my GUITAR VOLUME to 0 and there was still a small signal getting to the speaker. Before replacing the pot in my guitar I tried another amp. It was fine. Changing the preamp tube was the only thing that fixed it. I rechecked the procedure several times. Blew my mind. I had to concede and let it go before I had a seizure.
