a while back my randall amp starting cutting off
at first the distortion ch. would start to leak into the clean ch.
making it sound just slightly distorted......I always had the selector switch set to clean so i dont understand why the clean ch. would leak distortion
after a while the volume began to decrease...if i held the reset switch in the back for about 20 sec. all would be normal again
this stopped working after a while
now i can barely hear my guitar at full volume on the amp
all that remains is a whisper and some crackle
sometimes out of nowhere it will start working but no longer than 1 hour or so
it has no tubes whatsoever
no fuses that i can see
(ill post a pic of the inside as soon as i get it opened)
i sent it to a friend and he said the volume pots were dirty as well as the inputs...he said there was alot of grime
he said the speaker was in near perfect condition
it worked like if it was brand new but only lasted a week
im a newb at amp repair and I would appreciate any help
thanks for your time!
