  • Workingman's 15 or 12?? Blows Fuse

Have a workingman's 15 amp from the local school and they need a litttle help getting her working again. Schematic and trouble shooting tips would be greatly appreciated. The board says it's a workingman's 12 though???

12/15, the difference is in the size of the speaker. The amp part is the same.

How old is this amp? Is it from SWR when they were a separate company? Or was it from SWR as a division of Fender? In other words does it mention Fender on the rear panel anywhere?

Troubleshoot it like any solid state amp. if it blows fuses, the first thing I check is for shorted output transistors.

I have placed the schematics on www.ampix.org in the Enzo gallery

The second thing I would check on that amp is the bridge rectifier.
