  • Blown Fuses

I have a Fender Stage Lead II solid state amp that blows a fuse instantly upon powering up. Any idea of what is happening and what I need to do to fix this? Is this something I can do or will I need to drag it to the repair shop? Thanks...

Most likely - shorted output transistors

After that, shorted rectifiers, shorted filter caps, mechanical shorts, loose wires, and at the end of the list, a bad power transformer.
