Does anyone have the Chassis #185.10411 schematic? All I've found on the web is the 185.10410 version.

The amp is supposed to have 6L6G's in it, but currently has some GE 6L6GC's in there instead. Is that OK?

I've noticed that there are 2 transformers wired in parallel with each of the speakers, and they are not the output transformers. Does anyone know what those are doing there?

Yes, you 6L6s are fine in there.


Those are not transformers, those are chokes. Parallel with the speakers like that, I would assume they were acting like in a crossover, they would dump some of the bottom end out of the speakers. Each speaker has its own power amp.

I can think of a bunch of reasons they might want to reduce the low end, but who knows what they were trying to accomplish. Make it less boomy, reduce cab resonance, keep cheap speakers from flubbing out on low notes, reduce mechanical buzzes, etc.
