  • Filter cap question

Recapping a old Kent Trem-Tone amp. It's based on a AA5 radio circuit, so the heaters are direct from line voltage. The cap can is shot and originally had 20, 40 and 60 µF caps. What volt rating should I use for replacements? 400?

Those line voltage amps typically use 150 - 160 working volt caps.

I decided to go with 450 V radial electrolytics. Dimensionally they all three should fit in the old cap can too, which is a bonus. I couldn't match the µF exactly, so I just bumped the values slightly to more common ones. Thanks for the reply!
