  • Rewiring US Marshall for Europe

    Hi,

I have bought a Marshall TSL and DSL401 on ebay from USA for use in here in Sweden. I have schematics, and it looks as the power transformer can be rewired to work with 230V, by simply removing the wires from W1 and W6, and adding one between W4 and W5. There is also a note on the schematic that the mains switch is different. Is this really necessary?

    Best regards

Probably only if the switch has a neon indicator light built-in. If it does, it will need to be replaced with a higher voltage part.

Or the light will be REAL bright for a little while, then will stop lighting altogether.
