Hello Mars, What is the theory behind the diodes? What is their function?

Just like the flyback diodes in tube amps. If a spike happens, if the spike is ever larger than the power voltage, then those diodes will start conducting, preventing current from flowing backwards into the circuit and damaging th semiconductors.

          MG100HDFX. Fuse Blown, Fan Fried.

My fuse recently blew in my mg100hdfx head. I replaced it with the same one and it didn't blow, but the fan began to burn. Does ANYONE know how to fix this? Help me PLEASE!!!!

Hi seniorguitarro, welcome to the forum.

Please start a new thread for your amp. More people will notice that and respond. This is a long old thread here.

First place I look in those amps is the power amp module on the heat sink.
