Was playing on my Deville and it kinda fizzed out and stopped sounding. Tubes filaments are lit in standby and glow blue off standby. I am good with electrics and electronics and would appreciate some troubleshooting tips. Speakers checked out ok.

Plug your guitar into the effects return (power amp in) jack and see if there is output.
If no sound, go out of the effects send (power amp out) to the input of another amp to see if you get anything.
This will effectively split your amp into two sections (preamp and output) so you can isolate the problem area.

Check the power amp / pre-amp break jacks by plugging in a spare cord. If the sound comes back then clean the power amp in jack.
Check for overheating or unsoldered power resistors (the big white ones) in the 16 volt supplies. This is a common problem area in these amps. If you have a Hot Rod DeVille 212 check resistors R78 and R79. If you have a Blues DeVille 212 check R85 and R86.
Check all of the solder connections on the power tube sockets on the lower pc board.
You can do all of these tests using your drumstick. Just lightly tap the board or component that you want to test and see if you can cause the signal to start or stop.
