So is it all good now, or are there any ongoing problems?

No other problems, everything seems to be working very well. Whoever was in this before put 2 wrong power transistor replacements in & I believe that caused the main initial problem of the burn halo surrounding the rectifier.

I do have a question though. The relay doesn't kick on until 10 seconds after powering up. It sounds a little "fizzly", then kicks on. I know the Pioneer 1280 acts similarly. Is this a trait of monster receivers?
