Lafayette Tube Amp Conversion Discussion

Looking for suggestions for conversion, which amp schematic that would utilize the existing tube set.

This is a working mono tube amp which I think will be great for a 15ish watt guitar amp conversion.

Someone etched the "model LA-22R" on the back.

The amp is dead quiet at idle. You can already play guitar through it using the AUX input on the back.

All vintage Amperex tubes;

(1) 6CA4 / EZ81 rectifier
(2) 12AX7 Preamp
(2) EL84 Output

Looks like the PT may have been replaced as the footprint is off from the holes in the chassis.

I have knobs for it and the original cage/cover.

I am still trying to find the original schematic for this amp as well as a schematic candidate for the guitar amp conversion.

Use the existing tone color and install it between the preamp and phase inverter.
You don't have to install a vibrato.
