Why do surrender a match without a fight.
To get started, with Ohm meter check the cable that connects the VM410H to the Floor Controller ( footswitch) that is not broken.
On the footswitch check that the 6.3 mm jack is not accidentally damaged. And that is all.

I have done the jack and cable tests. First thing I did . gone over the board and checked components.. A new pedal is now ordered if he don't want the old one back, " as sometimes they do" I will see when I get time, if I can repair it to component level.
While this job is now finished I can get on with my other jobs that are waiting for my attention
