    Different voltage at the two ends of a fuse is a darn good sign it is open.

    Always pull a fuse from its clip and check it with a ohm meter.
    Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

      I nearly said something when I first read that but thought it too obvious. Surely he couldn't be measuring across the fuse? He must be measuring from fuse output to the other side of the winding.
