thanks to all who initially helped me fault find etc

Serious grovelling thank you to Jon Snell who I’ve been messaging. It turns out his suggestions were correct from the start... even with the very little info I gave... I tested the parts he noted, reported back with my findings, he advised replacements (including where and what to get as I was clueless) I’ve just soldered in 3 replacement resistors and my amp is working! Jon you are a star! Thanks!

of course, on the schematic R19 & R20 (5w 2k ohm each) and R47 (5w 5.6ohm)
