Headphone problems

Hi I've got a laney amp with 3 channels, clean drive 1 drive 2. but only the clean channel comes through the head phones which is plugged into the headphone socket, when the drive channels are selected it's a very distorted sound through the speaker but nothing through the head phones. Is this normal or does it need a repair

Doesn't make sense how that could happen.
If the Clean & Dist signal gets to the speaker then both 'should' also get to the HP jack

Thanks I've had a look and the headphone socket has dry joints and was crackling when it was out of the casing I've put a new one in and it works. Thanks for the wire diagram Jazz
