  • Rivera era Concert

I've got one of the 11 knob Concerts here, I guess they were called Concert II ?
The clean channel sounds great, full power.
The dirty channel sounds fine, but is about at 1/4 volume, when the Vol, Gain, MV for that channel are all cranked.
I've replaced V2 and V4, cleaned every pot/jack, checked plate resistors/voltages as well as the cathodes, and nothing seems out of the ordinary.
I see the switching is done by vactrols, and I have zero experience with them , so I am reading up now. I'm wondering if "bad" vactrols could cause this drop in level?
It looks like for the 4 legs, one receives voltage (bottom left ), one is the LED??(bottom right, w/ resistor), then the two upper legs are have continuity when switched "on"?
    Is that correct?

Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.

In the schematic the upper 2 vactrol terminals are the switching (resistive) side, the lower 2 connect to the LED.

What happens (in dirt mode) if you short the "upper" 2 terminals of the vactrol that connects to wiper of the Master Vol. pot?

It's SPAM guys - anyone who has top grade anti malware might try tapping on AmyGill's link. I'm not going there, I don't need to catch a case of the cooties.

And if it is legit Amy, put your request in local Craigslist. I'm sure tons of folks will respond - everybody who wants to work for free.
This isn't the future I signed up for.

Rules of show business says as much $$, as much services provided (the more $$, the better services)

Hire services are not required for an audience of 50 people. Too few people for stage, projector & screen hire services.
Look at fellow local musicians to borrow a public address up to 500W, and here are the solutions.
Video presentation with the announcement of the concert post on youtube and some of the popular portals.
          And, show can begin.

As a question, so is the answer.
As much $$ as much stage.
Nothing is impossible, only if it pays well.
For relatively cheap, the stage looks impressive.
