  • Filter cap brand

    Hi I'm recapping a fender stage 1600 filter caps what brand do people recommend i'm UK based.

    Caps allready in were samyoung kmh 3300uf 63v 105c clip in type ideally Farnell digikey rs! Or uk supplier. Cheers

    If I had to use Electrolytic caps (and in this case you do), I would look at Panasonic and Nichicon brand electrolytic caps.
    Panasonic ECO-S1JA332BA are spec'd at 3300µF/63V (20%) (22 X 50mm) • Snap-In • 10mm pitch • 0.09 Ohm ESR, 2500mA ripple current, with a life expectancy of 3000h @ 105°C.
    Tough to complain about that.
    If I have a 50% chance of guessing the right answer, I guess wrong 80% of the time.

      Any will be OK.
