  • SUNN Coliseum Lead channel 2

Hey guys, I have a Sunn Coliseum Lead that I could use some help with. There’s significant signal loss after the volume pot on channel 2. Signal going to the wiper and out looks excellent, but then no signal is getting to the EQ section. Dual 50k and the front side has significant decrease in signal as well. This amp is driving me up a wall a little bit due to it being a total rats nest in here haha. After that no signal at the junction of R112, R120, R127. Attached is a schematic. https://support.fender.com/hc/en-us/...iseum_Lead.PDF

If you have good signal at the pot and poor signal off the wiper, change the pot. You say good signal on the wiper, rules out the pot and leaves faulty wiring. All four transistors won't be faulty. Check the DC voltage around the transistors first.
Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.

Sorry to post another dud of a thread... I found the channel 2 input connector for the effects board broken under a bundle of wires. Things are hard to see with the vertical mounted boards when they’re at the very bottom. Got it worked out!
