VOX AC15C1 smoking fuses

I've replaced more power transformers in modern Far-Eastern Vox amps than any other brand. A failed PT is pretty unusual with any amp, but not so with a Vox. Replacing like-for-like isn't a good move if you want continued reliability and with some fairly recent amps the OT is discontinued and no longer available from Korg.

If you do fit a Korg spare part and are UK based, the UK is 240v NOT 230! Updated parts list attached.

The Trans-amp transformer linked has no 25v winding that's required for an AC15C1.

If using a non-original power transformer, check that have a special winding for the IC and LED voltage (detail J22 & J23 on schematic)

The Hammond unit that Randall linked has the extra LV winding.
