Hi all,
I have a 1960s JMI-era Vox AC-15 twin clone with two 16-ohm speakers. Would like to run two speakers at 8 ohms using the 8-ohm secondary, OR, EITHER 16-ohm speaker using the 16-ohm secondary.
I decided I think I could do this with two switches, a DPDT to switch between the 8-ohm or 16-ohm secondary, and a SPDT to be used when in 16-ohm mode to select between either speaker.
I'm pretty sure the output transformer will be safe with either switch in either position but want to run it past y'all.
Please see attached. What do you think?
If it looks OK, am thinking I need MBB (aka shorting) toggles, correct? 3A or better?
Cheers!
