The 100V line was used at PA systems to distribute audio signals from amp to spkr, over longer distances with minimal losses due to speaker cable resistance.
It is similarly used in the sound system of smaller stadiums, railway stations, airports ...
In the speaker cab, is located Line Matching 100V Transformer of appropriate power.
Since OTs are typical and the wire for a 100V line is thin, universal purpose OTs are produced.

It had occurred to me. But this place is in San Jose, Ca. and, unfortunately, I no longer have an "in" there as they changed management and have moved on to another painter since my move to the PNW. They wouldn't know me from Adam if I walked through the door now.
