The reverb send circuit is strong, but the recovery circuit is very weak. For testing I have an ipod plugged into the RCA return jack, obviously feeding it way more signal than the tank would. With the reverb knob cranked, under these conditions I do get some signal out of the speakers, but not much. Tracing the signal, I get it all the way to the Pre Out jack, have not been concerned with anything past that.
So, I have signal passing, just not nearly enough of it. My area of concern is around U7. I see the same level signal on output pin 7 as I do pin 5, unity gain. Shouldn't there be amplification here? Also, even more concerning is I have .06vdc sitting on pin 1, 0.15vdc on pin 5, and -12.5vdc on output pin 7.
Pretty sure that isn't good. So, is this my first thing to change? And how is this IC even working with nearly rail voltage on the output?
