Are you using 12AY7 tubes for both V1 and V2 ? Check the Plate Voltages. Grid current frequently occurs when the Plate Voltage is too low. Also, check and report the Heater Voltage.

No they are all 12AX7's per customer request. V2 plates are 208 pin 1 and 214v pin 6. Heaters are 6.6vAC

Those Voltages look good so that's not the issue.

I did some more socket cleaning and replaced the grid wire for pin 7 and we are down to 9mv. I think I am going to call this one good.
