  • Roland JC120 service in London

Please can anyone suggest where I can get my JC120 serviced in London, it's the usual hum that comes from age I want fixed, I only use it in my home studio so I record at low level and need to get it serviced/fixed to remove the hum. A service in London preferably West London but I will drive it to someone who can fix it. Thanks Phil

ANy competent amp repair tech can handle this sort of repair.

Hi Enzo, any suggestion? West London ? UK ....I know it can be an easy fix but I don't know anyone as I'm retired and out of touch, most of the guy's I knew when I was gigging have disappeared, so some guidance to a guitar tech would be most helpful rather than telling me anyone can fix it. Thanks Phil

My experience with individuals is strictly left-pondian. But if I found myself over there in need of a tech, I would ask at local music stores as to who does their work. I would ask local musicians who they trust their repairs to locally. And I would Contact Roland and ask names of authorized repair shops. But really, repair shops that routinely repair Fender/Peavey/Marshall/etc should also be competent.

I entered "West London amplifier repair" into google and came up with a number of places.

Nickb or Mick Bailey might be able to point you in the right direction if I recall right they are in the UK.
