I have a Kustom KPM 4060 with a power transformer failure and was wondering if anyone had a schematic for it? There is not much info on the trans to cross over but it is constantly powered when plugged in so I am sure it is a pretty common failure point. I was able to find a 4080 schematic on here but was unsure of any differences between the 2 units.

You are looking for an 18v - 0 - 18v 80 V/A; https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/toroi...ormers/1730189
A very common transformer.
The usual cause of transformer failure is secondary overload, (unlikely if in standby), wrong primary voltage rating, (230v as the UK is 240v meaning over time it may suffer) or bad mains connection causing sparking in the IEC connector/extension-power lead/power socket. Transformers hate choppy/noisy mains. The primary winding heats up and fails.Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.

Plus they "save nothing", they still need a Power On switch.
SW1 "POWER" mutes the output stage, nothing else.
It has got two SPERKERS though, so that's a bonusLast edited by Jon Snell; 11-20-2021, 07:43 PM. Reason: Noticed the usual mistake on Chinesium schematic.Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
