You can't trust the schematic. We already know this as V2 is running on DC heater, not AC.
So you need to confirm everything that you are relying on the schematic for by following traces and doing resistance checks. It is the unfortunate thing about boogie, many times the schematics are preliminary or just wrong. The part of the circuit you are working on may match up with some other model instead.

      Update!
Turns out that diode pad that lifted was indeed through hole. I re-established that connection to the pad underneath, and suddenly the 2nd channel light came on, and that channel is still working. However , I can't switch channels via the back switch, and when the loop is engaged and turned up at all it hums .

Do you now have +3V in the switching circuit where you had -3V before?

The humming is actually coming from the channel voicing switch (raw, modern , vintage) that also uses the 3V supply. It's the modern one that hums.

Another update, I have installed diodes back on the main PCB, after securing all the through hole connections. So no more floating things
But I am in the same place as last post. Channel light 2 is on, amp sounds great on that channel, but I cannot switch channels via the switch on the back. I don't have the footswitch, but that shouldnt matter.
