      FIXED. After reassembling and verifying grounds, I began doing more chop-sticking. Found that lifting and pressing the bright switch side of the preamp board would stop the noise, so I used the chopstick to hold down the board in different areas as I flexed the board, closing in on that corner with the chopstick. Once it stopped provoking the symptom, I knew the issue was between the chopstick and the corner I was lifting. After using the magnifier on my phone to zoom in on the board, I found a very subtle hairline crack in one of the joints, which I was able to fix. THANK YOU all.
