    Bad solder joint, OR... Sometimes I've seen silicooties misbehave until some aggressive work puts the screws to them and then they start to behave.?. Like they forgot where their P's and N's were for a moment.?. I've seen this go fine forever after and also as a precursor to a failing transistor. So it's still up for grabs :/

      Well I'll try it again today to verify stability and that would be it. It was interesting checking this amp, have never worked with these Fets before, and I can confirm that the board is a PITA to work on.

      I guess this is a case were a Signal Tracer gets Handy because I was not able to see the noise on the scope at the plate to V1. I applied the volume fact to the troubleshooting but failed to see all the FET's supply circuit that I needed to get out of the way.

      Thanks for your help guys, your knowledge is priceless.
