Please clarify. The schematic you posted in post #4 shows cathode bias for the power tubes, not fixed.

Scope the thing. Does the trem LFO clip? Is the trem signal so large as to drive the power tube grids too far?

It is/was in fact lead dress. The Long wire from the cw of the intensity pot. I was able to get it moved enough to make vast improvement. I will likely shield that wire. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
