i have an acoustic model 450. and i am trying to change the fuse, but i can't get the fuse out of the holder!!!its a red cap that will not come out past a certain point...any ideas?

Is it a Round red cap that screws in or a Square one that is pushed in? Either way - you may have to force it out, perhaps by pulling on it (gently) with a pair of pliers. Be sure the amp is not plugged in when you do this! You may just need to replace the holder. I never liked the square push-in style that Acoustic used, I would replace one of those with a suitable round style. If you aren't comfortable working with the 120V wires in your amp then seek a professional shop to do the job.
