    I used to used Weller but then tried Pace but find OKi or Metcal to be easier to use and more reliable than the competition.
    Expensive ... yes but you get what you pay for.
    I have these two systems on my bench;
    Near instant heat on those large soldering jobs, clean and precise through hole desoldering and a wide variety of bits to choose from, all suitable for Lead Free soldering/desoldering. The Metcal MFR-1300 (https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/solde...ations/7621367 ) does most things you will ever need and the MX500 (https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/solde...ations/8600169 ) tweezers.
    Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
    If you can't fix it, I probably can.

      I use a metcal 900. Works great but my cable to the pen started getting hot and need replacing after about 2 years of use.

        There was a time that I was tempted to go with a Metcal system.....but, cost was what kept me from going there. Been using Pace SX70 for De-soldering, and a PS80 for soldering irons. Tips are, of course, EXPENSIVE for both the Desoldering and Soldering irons.
