  • Marshall tubes marked vlve000..etc

    hello folks,
Does anyone know where to find which tubes are what on these weird Marshall designations?
I've determined that VLVE00055 is a 12AX7, but what is the VLVE00064? this TSL100 has one of those in the 1st positoin. the tube tests like a 12AX7. Perhaps a low noise version? thanx, glen

The TSL100 parts list only shows 12AX7WA Sovtek, not two different kinds of tubes for the amp. Marshall may asign different part numbers to different brands, but if they are mixed in yours it was probably either from service or someone being creative.

VLVE00064 is special selected ECC83 for use in first stage in amp. This is low noise/ low microphony tubes similar as SPAX7 (Boogie); 7025 or hm, hm ECC83 Telefunken
      VLVE00055 is general purpose 12AX7 & ECC83

Kiki, thanks for the effort, but the links don't seem to explain the differences, other than maybe the last one which was in German, which I cannot read. DO you have a listing of special Marshall tube part numbers other than these two?

The Mars resounding service has not 2 final stage tubes (the expensive are and to be in-measured to have) changed to separate 2 preliminary stage tubes, as also all say it here and excite themselves by right about it; -) where do you have read with the EL-34? Edited version: 2 preliminary stage tubes were exchanged, which are substantially more biliger übrigends than final stage tubes and also not be in-measured must, i.e. 1x MR-VLVE00064 (Highgrade) and 1x MR-VLVE00055 The MR-VLVE00064 is ne V1 ECC83 tube for favorable 35€/Stck The MR-VLVE00055 is ne stink-normal ECC83 (12AX7) for super+inexpensive 30€/Stck normally ne V1 costs 9€ in such a way - 13€ ne normal costs in such a way 5-8€ naja even if I still as much money have, but 65€ (that last scarcely 130DM) for two ECC83? for Quallität pay I gladly more, if also not as many, but for the Raffgier of a manufacturer or an importer? SG Rocker easy to service like the workshop is, not times informed BTW in demand, what is normally natural. The excuses then to read were " that would have it say müssen" are only " unschlau" or how is that now? if one buys n bread and with 50€Schein pray-paid must one then also before say which one the remainder money gladly raus would have? I mean about which the people in such a way everything go out there without itself ne carrot over the Konsumennten to make, but (with mikrofonischen tubes) makes tests still beautifully, because one would not like to get repeated nen errors to ignore became… TC clearly, cannot one simply ne box and ne Gitare drann and simply times test-play *sarkasmus* amusingly *kopfkraz*kann jetz coincidence its however " durchmessen" etc. costs also more weils longer lasts… sadly, my compassion hated dear SG Rocker, therefore I can also understand why you n bissle was angepisst in the other Thread, I last yesterday many more badly drauf been can I to you into account thus only highly take it net so wild was probably. 00064 and 00055 is the same tube. In a TSL100 two years old are chinese with nickel plates. Relative transconductance leves are similar with no differences in gain.
Marshall goes labelling his tubes like that for a time. Also has used Ei nickel plates with these labels.
              Regards
