I do get a small reaction but not near as severe as when playing loud. When no audio is going through the amp, there is virtually no reaction from the relay and board. I do get a reaction tapping the relay/board while the amp is crackling. Odd issue.. not a typical failure of this amp in my experience. So far jumpering the relay has cured the amp but will give it the weekend before I call it. With the relay pulled and checking the resistance across the normally closed contacts, tapping it on the bench definitely has an affect with the resistance going OL in Min/Max mode.
